It’s been a crazy month filled with both shooting and celebrating weddings back to back and now, in just 5 short days, my twinny will say I do to a forever with her fiancé.

Despite all of the challenges, the changes of plans, the overwhelming fear and chaos, I’ve witnessed so so much love this month. These brides and grooms have gone through hell and back and have fought SO hard to ensure they still get to have their magical and special wedding day✨

I’m so overjoyed and excited for what’s to come for all the newly weds and to stand by my sis so so soon as she too gets MARRIED! 💗💗💗💗

Lately I’ve been reminiscing on my college experience. The days of planning concept shoots for @gcmag and wandering in the woods of Mount Pleasant Michigan with a group of models and all of our gear shooting for our Denim Fall Feature📸
I was talking to @anastasiacreative thinking, damn what the heck did we do with our time in college? And then I stumbled upon one of the photos from the shoot and remembered how often we would use our time to create. Anything and everything that came to our minds we were story boarding and networking and bringing to life✨
Sometimes it’d be incredible to have time machine and go back for just a day💗
Anywho, anyone else as excited for fall and oversized sweaters as I am?🍁🍂🌾

Have you ever shot with smoke bombs before? @anastasiacreative and I spent a day last summer shooting in my backyard and braving posing in the pond to get some of the most moody, witch-like shots. We even found this jar in the middle of the woods during our shoot and decided to use it as a prop🔮

There’s something about waking up before the sun, tiptoeing around a messy attic and down creaky stairs to escape to the vacancy of a small beach coated in cotton from the trees above and sheds of fireworks from the Fourth of July🇺🇸

Something about the way the whole sky looks like a painting as the sun peaks out from horizon line🎨
•
Something about the sound of the waves crashing against the jetty, the birds singing in harmony, the way the cold sand feels against my skin before it’s warmed by the rising suns rays☀️
•
Each day I breath in waves of thankful that I have such a peaceful, breathtaking and beautiful place to call home💗
